JDM Honda CRX Engines

Specifically, Honda CRX engines are popular little power-plants to say the least. Although the CRX had a relatively short production run, there were a bunch of CRX engines floating around out there since other cars in the Honda lineup used them as well. When I say we have Honda CRX engines, I mean we have Honda engines for sale galore. All types and replacement variations including our scrupulously remanufactured Honda CRX engines.

The CR-X was popular for its performance, excellent handling, good fuel economy and low cost. In the US its performance model, the Si with the SOHC [single overhead camshaft] (D16A6) was the favorite engine.

In 1992, Honda replaced the CR-X with a new, Targa roofed, Civic-based model called the Honda Civic Del Sol, otherwise known as simply the Honda del Sol.

Getting into the nitty gritty of engine replacement in foreign cars, specifically Japanese cars, there is one form of replacement engine always stands out. It is called a remanufactured engine, specifically a remanufactured JDM engine. Ask the team representatives here what a JDM engine is. I really don’t have the space to discuss the definition of it with you, but it’s a good choice for lots of people.

Since JDM engines will meet US emission standards, the cars are disassembled and most of the major components get shipped to the US for resale. thus, you have your JDM engines for sale, cheap.

This is a list is put together of every CRX engine ever used;

My suggestion for the most reliable power source is a remanufactured engine. I think the price will surprise you. It’s very affordable and allows you to exchange the engine in a perfectly good car otherwise, and drive it for many more years. Avoiding car payments and increased insurance, on top of feeling good about yourself for making a great choice. Call now.
